Day 1: Rhino Tracking Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary & drive to Murchison Falls N/Park
After breakfast, next will be Murchison Falls tour trip-a journey estimated to take 6 hours of driving. En-route area of interest will be Ziwa Sanctuary for you to track white rhinos. Leave Ziwa for Murchison Falls National Park with lunch be offered in Masindi town. You will be transferred to check into the lodge of your choice in and around Murchison Falls N/Park; Paraa Safari Lodge/Bakers Lodge (luxury), Pakuba Safari Lodge/Heritage Lodge (Mid-range) and or Fort Murchison/Red chilli camp (Budget)
Day 2: Game drive with experienced guide & Launch cruise on Victoria Nile
Breakfast early enough and go enjoy guided game drive your main highlight of 4 days Murchison Falls. In your 4WD vehicle with pop up roof, expect to have 2-3 hours of enjoying the most excellent view of antelope families, giraffes, lions, elephants, leopard, warthogs and others.
Drive back for a leisurely lunch then in the afternoon, vacate the lodge for boat or launch cruise on the Nile extension. A boat cruise comes with animal sightings especially hippos, crocodiles and aquatic birds then you proceed with trek to the top of the falls. Enjoy the panoramic views of the falls, take photos, and see it as it roars and forms the ‘Devils cauldron.’ A relaxed evening, dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge/Bakers Lodge (luxury), Pakuba Safari Lodge/Heritage Lodge (Mid-range) and or Fort Murchison/Red chilli camp (Budget)
Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking Kaniyo-Pabidi forest/Budongo
Have a hefty breakfast, leave your lodge for briefing on Budongo Forest chimpanzee tracking rules. At 8:00am, the actual trek to see chimpanzees begins with knowledgeable guide on lead, taking you on 2-4 hours chimp trek and upon locating chimpanzees, you have 1 hour of face to face interaction.
Expect to return after the 1 hour of close interaction, get back to enjoy a relaxed afternoon and lunch. In the evening, take a walk in the nearby community especially Boomu (optional) or chill and share your experienced at Budongo Eco-Lodge.
Day 4: Depart Budongo for Kampala or Entebbe
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and after, vacate Budongo Forest for Kampala/Entebbe via Luweero, about 6 hours.
End of 4 days Murchison Falls-Northwestern Uganda
