Day 1: Travel to Kidepo Valley N/Park in the Eastern Safari Circuit
Day one of your 4 days Kidepo safari: Wake up very early to be offered a delicious breakfast in your hotel in Entebbe/Kampala. After, leave for Kidepo Valley National Park set in the semi-arid Karamoja region, about 10-12 hours’ drive.
You may have an en-route visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track rhinos and proceed to Kidepo Valley National Park on Kampala-Gulu Highway. A leisurely lunch en-route before you proceed to check into the lodge for overnight stay: Apoka Lodge (luxury), Kidepo Savanna Lodge (Mid-range)/Go wilderness camping (Budget).
Day 2: Full-day guided game drive Kidepo
Enjoy breakfast early enough and after, pick up by your driver guide ready to kick start full-day guided game drive in the splendid savannas of Kidepo Valley National Park-The Eastern circuit. Your Kidepo safari today lets you enjoy animal sightings such as zebras, giraffes, lions, leopards, buffaloes, birds, antelopes and the exceptional landscape in general.
Being the full day game viewing experience, expect also a memorable picnic lunch and then continue exploring what Kidepo has to offer the world. Day 3: Mount Morungole trekking-interact with the IK
Breakfast early morning and after, head to the Mount Morungole hiking trail to begin your adventure. At the summits of Mt. Morungole, expect to meet the IK people, have in-depth exploration about their cultures, history, lifestyles and a lot more. Day 4: Depart Kidepo-10 to 12 hours’ drive to Kampala/Entebbe
A delicious breakfast early morning and then you vacate your lodge ready to make a return journey of 10-12 hours’ drive to Kampala/Entebbe. Lunch be provided en-route and later, drop off to one of the best hotels/lodges in Kampala/Entebbe.
